Tour of Palazzo La Marmora and Explore Biella - 10:00am

For ample time, get to Biella around 9:30am and Park at Parcheggio della Funicolore and ride the funicular up to the old town.

The funicular is free and when you exit the funicular you will head to the main street and turn left and walk to the Palazzo La Marmora.

We will meet you there with our friend, Marquis Francesco Alberti La Marmora who will be our guide for the tour.

For Lunch you are on your own to explore Biella more, here are some lunch options:

• Close to the palace there is a very good trattoria in the square, that we can point out to you on the way back to the car as well as other pizza and pasta spots.

• Capri – Family run, great pizzas and pastas

• La Bottega Del Pane Di Carbone – Bakery with pizza, panini, bread and dolci

• Il Bistrot -  Coffee and light snacks

• Three Trees Coffee - Another lunch spot in town

• Asmara – Back up the mountain closer to La Bursch, walking distance.

  If you choose this option bring your suit and towel so you can meet us for a swim after lunch!

Swim at Asmara in the afternoon. Take the plunge into the Cervo Torrente!

Meet us down at Asmara (link above) around 2:30 and cool down before your pisolino, nap!
